This is a list of the people that were associated with
Mata Hari in any way shape or form

The wives, lovers, sisters, girlfriends and friends : Peggy, Jane, Miss Vicky, Bobbie, Robyn, Teresa, Sue, Billie, Jerry, Roberta (Bob), Kay, Sharon and Rhonda. And 'Big Red' whoever you were.

Bruce "Nugget" Gates : All round good guy who helped the band more than they realised at the time. Played the Belmont Hotel under the name "Ralph Mellish" with Russell McDougall, sadly he died a few years back,
R I P old mate.

Russell McDougal : Singer songwbiter, drove an old maroon cortina that didn't have a straight panel on it, except for the roof. Released an album with Iain McLennan (Richard Clappon Band, Ariel) on Brian Rippon's Audico label, under the name "Mac2". I was lucky enough, (though Russell tends to disagree), to score a copy a while back. Last seen posing as a professor at Armidale University.

Graham "The Cripple" Hemmings : He was Russell's accident prone flat mate. Every time I saw him he had at least one broken limb. Famous for his 'midnight streak' from Adamstown to The Junction. Now living in Armidale and still as 'scatty' so I am led to believe.

Brian Rippon : Made the best amp's and speaker systems at the time, bar none. He was always there to help us if we had problems, which wasn't that often because of the quality of his work.

Paul "The Man" Jenson : Became the third roady towards the end. He had something to do with Mayfield RSL the last I heard of him.

Kevin 'Roach' Chisholm : Came to occasional gig's and away trips. Helped lug the gear in and out.

Dooge : A friend of Jim's and mine at the time, who always had "Jumping Jack Flash" dedicated to him when he was at a gig. 'Space Cowboy' extraordinare.

Mata Hari Fan Club : Formed by my cousin Dianna Goddard, it's headquaters were in Liverpool, Sydney. she and her girlfriends were impressed by the 45 single so they formed the club. The irony is, they never saw the band perform live.

Scrooge : Ross Wilson's roady with "Mighty Kong", he went do the USA with "Daddy Cool. He always made sure we used his 'top of the line' pa, and got us the best sound mix.
I never did find out hhs real name.

Sally Ridgeway and his brothers sisters and cousins : They may have been black, they may have been big, and they may have liked to have a blue, but they were never agro towards us. Heavily involved in land rights around the Port Stephens area.

Mark Tinson : Bluegrass, Rabbit, Heroes, Swanee, Tex Pistols, Colours, Raiding Party, TMG.
Thanks for trying to write about the band. ( Out of the Mix, The Post, 6-12-89 )
You missed out on Clive, Lee and Grant, but hey no one is perfect.
Was it you who coined the term "good time band" ??????
You've got a lot to answer for Mr T.

Les Gully, Lee Hammond and Chris Spencer : For also trying to write about the band, "Rockin' and Shakin' in Rock City", published by Moonlight Publications 1994. Once again Clive and Grant missed out. And once again that term "good time band " was used.

Mike Webb and Ian Grace : For letting Nugget and me treat the 2NX studio's like a second home.

Others : Howie, Tom, Sammy, Graham and Maralyne, Harry, George.
