New Rock, Soul, Funk outfit Newcastle Flyers, new on the band circuit, but members and their talent are not new to the music industry.

James Neal Bass/Vocals credentials span many decades appearing in bands such Delta, Daniel, and Cowley Neal Hofman just to mention few, now teaming up with his son Nathan Neal on guitar/vocals and drumming stalwart Pete Lydiard.

Newcastle Flyers deliver a solid mix of funky, soul and rock tunes, which deliver a strong and powerful groove. Always entertaining and a pleasure to watch, covering tunes from legends acts such as Little Feat, Steely Dan, Lenny Kravits, Van Morrison, The Police and some amazing swamp style blues tunes which will in turn keep your groove happening throughout their entire performance.

The band plays many local venues, but it would be great to see Newcastle Flyers playing some of the premier venues around the traps, for if you see them once. I'm sure you'll come back for more.
